The Vice-Rector of
Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary, Archpriest Besarion
Tsintsadze has been the clergyman of the Church of Georgia since
2007 when he was ordained by His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II,
Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia. He fulfills ministry in
Tbilisi Sioni Cathedral Temple. For many years, Archpriest Besarion
was head of the Department of Education of the Youth Centre -
“Dzlevai”, operating for the youth organizations of Georgia and
working under the auspices of the Patriarchate of Georgia, its
Vice-President and Director of Summer Camps.
Archpriest Besarion
Tsintsadze worked in Kashveti Church of Saint George; also, he was
a priest of the Church of Ascension of the Saviour in Sololaki and
a lecturer of the Old Testament at Tbilisi Theological Academy and
Seminary. He has been entitled to wear an Embellished Cross.
Archpriest Besarion
was Dean of the Theological Seminary, Vice-Rector in the Scientific
Field at the same educational institution, and since 2011 up to the
present, he has been Vice-Rector of Tbilisi Theological Academy and
Seminary in the educational field.
Since 2016,
Archpriest Besarion Tsintsadze has been taking the Doctorate
programme in History of Georgia at the School of Humanitarian
Subjects and Law operating under the aegis of the Georgian
University of Andrew the First-Called of the Patriarchate of
Georgia.
