PhD of Philology, Professor Lela Khachidze, the scientific supervisor of the Master’s Degree thesis noted that the novelty of the topic is the hymn chosen for research which has not been studied in scientific literature, to date. It is a hymn commemorating 425 Holy Fathers, among whom are Georgian saints, as well. Thus it has been clearly concluded that Michael Modrekili, this one of the outstanding figures of the Church of Georgia and Christian culture, apart from his many other merits, compiled a calendar which can be called the calendar of Michael Modrekili.
