On December 19, a literary evening was held at the Theological Academy and Seminary. The event was organized under the supervision of Doctor of Philology Tamar Nutsubidze, a teacher of History of World Literature, and with the support extended by the Service of Public Relations and Strategic Communications. The students of various years from the Faculties of Christian Art Theory and History, Christian Psychology and the Faculty of Seminary participated in it. These students are Lazare Jincharadze, Koka Jalagonia, Dato Nasqhidashvili, Potine Gunia, Gvantsa Javashvili, Nino Avqopashvili, David Karelidze.
They recited with special inspiration masterpieces of Georgian poetry, created on various motifs and topics. Songs performed to the accompaniment of the chonguri and poems composed by the students themselves made the event even more enjoyable and impressive.
The evening was attended by the Vice-Rector for Academic and Administrative Affairs of TTAS, Archpriest Besarion Tsintsadze, the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Archpriest Teimuraz Mzhavanadze, the Dean of the Faculty of Christian Art Theory and History, Tea Bezhuashvili, the professors, teachers and students of TTAS.
The Evening of Poetry was highly appreciated by the audience and with many sincere, emotional, remarkable and praiseworthy words did they give credit to the students and their teacher, Mrs. Tamar Nutsubidze. Everybody expressed a wish that it would be preferable if similar events would be planned in the future and the students would present their creativity to a much wider audience.
