Today, November 19, Doctor of Philology and Professor in Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Levan Gigineishvili gave a public lecture at Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary. The topic of the lecture was “A Task of Becoming a Human Being According to the Works of Merab Mamardashvili”.
The lecture was attended by the professors and students of TTAS. Mr. Levan Gigineishvili discussed the existential issues of Merab Mamardashvili’s thought in relation to different philosophical trends and theology. The theme was very relevant and familiar to the students of our institution; they put several questions to the speaker, and the lecture ended with a dialogue. In addition, a plan for the future meeting was drawn up.
