On April 7, at the Ministry of
Environment and Agriculture of Georgia the final event of the
“Youth Forum for Sustainable Development and European Integration”,
organized for the first time by “The Georgian Greens’
Movement/Friends of the Earth – for Georgia”, was held. The
students of Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary participated
in the forum along with students of different higher educational
institutions of Georgia. The event was organized in the form of a
panel; students presented their views and opinions regarding the 17
goals of the Sustainable Development of the UN. The students of the
Faculty of Christian Psychology of Tbilisi Theological Academy and
Seminary, Giorgi Gegidze (a second-year student) and Lika Zhvania
(a first-year student) presented their speeches within the
framework of the goal – “Social Inclusion and European
Integration”. The topic of Giorgi Gegidze’s talk was “A Healthy Way
of Life and Well-being in the Light of Christian Anthropology” and
Lika Zhvania gave a report on the topic – “The Essence and Identity
of a Human Being”. Nino Grigalashvili, a third-year student of the
Department of Architecture participated in the group of students
working on the implementation of the goal – “Economic Development
and European Integration”. The topic of her talk was “Sustainable,
Green Architecture - Ecological Revitalization and Social
Applications.”
