On September 15, 2021, a remote
meeting was held between the representatives of Tbilisi Theological
Academy and Seminary and the University of Tübingen. At the
introductory meeting, the Rector of TTAS, Protopresbyter Giorgi
Zviadadze and Ms. Notaker, Chief Adviser of the Church on Relations
between the Church and the University, discussed future cooperation
between Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary and the University
of Tübingen (Germany).
The Rector spoke briefly
about the current state of the foremost theological educational
institution of Georgia and its history. The Assistant of the Rector
in the Field of Quality Assurance System and Institutional
Development – Mrs. Tamar Sanikidze introduced the peculiarities of
all the three levels of teaching in our school to the European
colleagues.
Opportunities for the exchange of
academic personnel and students, issues of further cooperation in
research activities were discussed at the meeting.
The participants of the meeting
expressed their hope that the world would soon be able to deal with
the pandemic and the Rector of Tbilisi Theological Academy and
Seminary would be able to host Ms. Notaker in Georgia where she
will be able to get to know the ancient culture of our
country.
At the end of the meeting, both
sides noted that this cooperation would be very useful and fruitful
for the schools; They thanked each other and wished success in
their further cooperation.
