On the Commemoration Day of the Yunkers, February 23, the Choir of Tbilisi Theological Seminary, conducted by Lasha Zaalishvili, participated in the commemorative service offered for their souls at the Annunciation Chapel of the Parliament of Georgia.
Laying wreaths at their memorial, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Mr. Irakli Kobakhidze, the President of Georgia, Mr. Mikheil Kavelashvili, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Mr. Shalva Papuashvili, and the Mayor of Tbilisi, Mr. Kakha Kaladze paid tribute to the memory of the Yunkers who lost their lives in the Battle of Kojori-Tabakhmela against the Russian Army in 1921.
The Choir of Tbilisi Theological Seminary also participated in that event. The students performed hymns and folk songs at the Memorial of the Yunkers.
