Today, on March 24, a meeting was
held at Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary with the professor
of the University of Warsaw, Doctor of Theology, Jerzy Ostapchuk
who has been visiting our academy within the framework of the
Erasmus Exchange program for a few days. This time, the guest met
with the professors of the Academy and Seminary. Jerzy Ostapchuk
introduced the audience to the peculiarities of teaching theology
at the University of Warsaw, practice of joint teaching of students
of different faiths, the relationship between the Church and the
state, issues of everyday relations between denominations, etc. The
meeting was more of a dialogue than a lecture, as it turned out to
be more interesting than it had been expected to talk to the guest
and exchange experiences of the two theological schools.
