 The Objective of the programme is to:
Familiarize the students with the main trends, approaches, principles and fundamental themes of individual disciplines. 
Prepare the students for the study of influence of religious factors on the processes of globalization, for the analyses of problematic religious issues and the development of recommendations thereof, for the seeking of ways for the maintenance of cultural and religious originality in the process of the contemporary globalization. 
To equip the students with necessary skills and habits for: oral and written presentations, analysis, assessment of problems and their solution, teamwork and communicativeness; also, to develop in them skills and knowledge, necessary for the exposition of ecclesiastical literary heritage and methodological concepts, accumulated in the bosom of the Church, through the prism of general Ecclesiastical Teaching.  

The results of study:


The graduates are familiar with and know:

Stages of the development of individual disciplines in the study of Theology;

Works of well-known theologians;

The main trends of Theology;

The significance of the correct interpretation of the text of the Holy Scripture;

Theological terminology;

The main arguments in theological debates on topical issues.


The graduates will be efficient in:

Identification of complex problems and their analysis by using the knowledge and competences gained during the learning process;

Appending comments based on theological standpoint to the texts;

Presenting theological issues, using modern technological tools and latest interdisciplinary methods;

Preparation of articles and abstracts;

Interpretation of the Holy Scripture by basing their consideration on the concepts of well-known theologians;

Analysis and research of topical religious issues;

Critical Analysis of various specialized scientific literary works;

Oral and written presentations;

Analysis of certain theological problems and their solution with the help of the supervisor and independently, as well;

Critical analysis, synthesis and summary of information.
